Help & support
We're here, and we're human
We're a real South African business and there's a real person on the other end. If something doesn't look right, or you're unsure about a listing, a payment, or a transfer, talk to us before you do anything — we'd always rather you asked. We never charge upfront fees and we'll never rush you.

Buying
Is what I'm seeing genuine?+
Yes. We check the ownership of every listing before it goes live, against the seller's signed declaration and the records of the managing body that keeps the ownership register. You only ever see listings whose ownership we've checked.
When do I pay, and is my money safe?+
You don't pay anything to browse, watch, bid or make an offer. When you win an auction, buy at the listed price or have an offer accepted, you pay the full amount — the price, the buyer's commission, the admin fee and the transfer fee — into Leisure Options' FNB Section 54 trust account. It stays there until the ownership transfer into your name is registered, and only then is the seller paid. We never send payment links or bank details by email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone.
What fees do I pay as a buyer?+
Our buyer's fee: your buyer's commission plus an admin fee, shown on the listing and again before you pay — there are no surprise charges. You also pay the managing body's transfer fee, which we pass on to it in full. Bidding and making offers are free.
What does it really cost to own a timeshare?+
More than the asking price — the real cost is the annual levy, which you keep paying every year and which usually rises. Register free and every listing shows you its levy, any arrears or special levies owed, and a cost-of-ownership projection, so you can see the long-term picture before you buy.
Selling
Can I even sell my timeshare?+
Sometimes the honest answer is no, and we'll say so before you waste time or money. When you start a listing we give you a straight read — sellable, marginal, or effectively unsellable — and if it can't sell for a positive price we point you to the real options (handing it back to the club, relinquishing points, or a regulated exit). We don't charge a fee to tell you the truth.
What does it cost to list?+
Listing is free. Our commission only ever comes off a successful sale — there is no upfront fee to sell with us, ever.
How does selling work?+
You list your week or points, we verify the ownership with your club or share-block, and once it's live buyers can buy, bid or make an offer. When a deal is agreed we guide both sides through to transfer. You sign a short mandate that lets us market it and deduct our commission from a successful sale — it does not hand over your ownership or sign anything away.
Safety & your account
Do you ever charge upfront fees?+
No. We never ask for an upfront fee to list, to "release" a sale, or to "guarantee" a buyer. Anyone contacting you claiming to be from mydreamholiday and asking for an upfront payment is not us — stop, and report it to us. See our Staying safe page for the full anti-scam guidance.
Do I need to verify my identity?+
We need your ID before you can bid or buy, never just to browse. You can add your ID under Account at any time so that step is ready when you need it. Registering, watching and bidding are always free.
Something doesn't look right. What do I do?+
Talk to us before you act. Use the "Report a problem" form below or email us — if it's about a specific listing or a deal, include the details. A real person reads every report and we'll come back to you as quickly as we can.
After a deal
How long does the transfer take?+
It depends on your club or share-block, but you're never in the dark — once a deal is secured you get a transfer tracker showing exactly where things stand and what's next. If a transfer can't be completed through no fault of yours, your deposit is returned.
How do I check on my sale or purchase?+
Sign in and open your dashboard. Each listing and deal shows a simple progress tracker — green for done, amber for in progress — so you can see the status yourself without having to ask.
